Provider meeting this Friday, March 13^th, from 9:00am-11:00am. As usual, we are meeting at the Salvation Army Church (1110 S Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, WA  98405). No breakfast, unfortunately. 

We’ll be meeting in person, and I have also scheduled live captioning to be broadcast during the meeting – so you can read along from home or office (or café), and type in questions and comments if you have them.  I’ll post the URL to the Coalition website when it is available (it may be a last-minute thing – but I’ll put it on the front page at http://pchomeless.org/ ).  I’m also looking for someone who can live stream the audio and video of this event (another remote option to compliment the captioning that will be broadcast). 

We are again in Coronavirus response mode – and currently we have:

• The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and the Pierce County Department of Emergency Management will provide an update on prevention and preparation for the coronavirus.
• Best practice changes in operations at Shelters and in homeless outreach (I need some folks willing to talk about these changes – I have Melissa Moss from Nativity House signed up – but I’d love someone from Coordinated Entry, CTI, the homeless outreach teams, TRM Search and Rescue, and/or Adams Street or wherever willing to talk about what they are doing different).
• I’d love someone from Sea Mar or another health clinic to talk about what someone suspected of having coronavirus can expect at a medical clinic (not sure who to contact on this – would love some help)
• Open session to talk about what supports we need from our City, State and Emergency management partners
• Small group breakout to discuss a variety of topics.
