Reaching out to try to connect with someone who helps/advocates/gives advice to people who are on the verge of homelessness. Have an 75yo female who’s house is uninhabitable… Hoarder-type situation but more importantly does not have power, heat, or water. City is going to condemn and displace her. She owns the property, receives little income, but also has undisclosed/discussed debt. “Doesn’t make enough” to get into assisted living at this time, says she has looked into it, but if she could sell her place would have money…… would need someone to walk her through that.

Have contacted APS but because she has basic needs – receives or goes out for food, has clothing – and is not claiming to be in need, they cannot help or have nothing to offer her.

Let me know if anyone is out there who has resources for a situation like this and is willing to meet or call her. Email works best for me as I’m and out of the office and in the field.

Thank you,

Kelly Custis
