Question ( especially if you are familiar with the state of Washington. ) I have a neighbor (who happens to be blind.) that was given a 20 day notice to vacate. I do not know the official reason. I am aware that there doesn't have to be one for a 20 day. Unofficially it is because he cannot care for himself or his room. Who can I contact that could check on his welfare that IS NOT THE POLICE ? Is it DSHS, do they have Adult protective services here, do they take calls from non related people ? Are they likely to respond ? ( NO COPS, we get a notice if the cops  come  . And I don't want them to scare him. )
