My friend Chris needs help moving.  Some of you know her from the Tacoma Tenant's Union.  She's testified in Oly, too.  She got a 20-day notice last fall but was able to get an extension through Feb.  I went by today and she still has lots of stuff that needs to be moved to her storage unit.  She has a Uhaul but needs hands, clear minds, support!  I doubt she'll be out by end of day today but once her stuff's gone, she could really use help cleaning.  (TTU got a crew together Tuesday to move all the big furniture so most of this is little/light stuff.  But she and her son are exhausted.)

She and her adult son (and two small dogs) will crash with me temporarily since I don't want her sleeping in her car and him on the street!  But she hasn't been able to find a place she could rent for them even after months of searching.  If anyone has some time to help her clear her place or leads on a 2 bd apt, let me know.  She's on Sec. 8.  Not sure his source of income or what their budget would be but I can put you in touch with her if you have something.
