Good afternoon, I was wondering if there was any suggestions for a young woman with a diagnosis of a developmental disability. She was in foster care and has been attending school but that support ends June 30th. She does have DDA support. She was informed by someone that she could live in a permanent supportive housing option. She is only eligible for that program if she is literally homeless. That is not an option that is in her best interest.Does anyone have any suggestions?Thank youKathy E HallVice President of Program Services253-863-5173 x 240253-548-4032 wk cell1701 Elm StreetSumner, WA 98390253-863-2040 FaxClick on the icons above to find Vadis on your favorite social media platforms!P please don't print this e-mail unless you really need to, think green!CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This electronic message may contain legally privileged, confidential or proprietary information intended only for the eyes of the recipient. Request for info on transitional housing & permanent supportive housing by Allen Ratcliffe (12 Jun 2019 17:25 UTC)

Gentleones,The Behavioral Health Advisory Board wants to develop information about the general locations and capacities of these two housing categories throughout Pierce County, especially for any that are operated or sponsored by local persons/organizations/churches that are not receiving government funding. We are interested in housing that is occupied by persons with Behavioral Health (MH, SUD, or both) challenges. The information we gather will play a role in determining what state funding might need to support during the next round of contracting by Beacon AMHO.If you have information, please share it with me. I will report aggregate data only.Specific information needed:The name and email address of the operating entity (person or organization),the number of houses or facilities supported and capacity of each,ZIP Code of each house or facility, and street number of each (but NOT street name. I will use street number only to identify any duplicates). Please forward this request to other people or organizations that operate or sponsor these houses but are not on the fullcoalition listserv. If you need more information before responding, please contact me.Please reply to me only, and thanks for your help!Al Ratcliffe

The Coalition is being awarded the City of Destiny Award this Friday at the Star Center (3873 S. 66th St. Tacoma, WA 98409). Meet and greet at 5pm, with the awards ceremony starting at 6pm.I really, really, really want a good turnout - this is a great chance to show the Tacoma City Council the sheer mass of humans who care about homelessness. We have new t-shirts (proof attached) that will identify us as Coalition members. You can pick yours up Friday morning at the Coalition meeting or in the parking lot at the Star Center on Friday night. We have sizes from youth medium to 3XL – something for everyone in the family. After the awards ceremony, we’ll head a few blocks down the road to The Church Cantina (5240 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA) for a bit of an after party. No need to RSVP or register (although you can say you’re going at https://www.facebook.com/events/855073711508481/ ) – just show on up.I hope you can make some or all of the festivities.See you soon,-GerritGerrit F.
