I am able to help with child care! For future reference, Working Connections requires proof of work or WorkFirst activities, but DCYF also has a program called Homeless Grace Period that covers families experiencing homelessness for four months without proof of work. That said, I am happy to have this family give us a call and we can get her set up with childcare referrals in her area, private funding while she settles in with a provider, and help applying for HGP when she is in a position to maximize the benefit.
