We have been working with a former stability site resident in our TEP program. He is currently placed 20 hours/week at Salvation Army and we have helped him secure permanent housing. His goal now is to return to his former career as a commercial
janitor. He has spent a large part of his life doing this work.
The goal of TEP is permanent employment. Valeo will be hiring him for part-time work, as our janitor, for 3-5 hours/wk. We are working with him to identify other businesses that contract with someone to clean their offices to hopefully
make this a full-time career as an independent contractor. I thought this community would be a GREAT place to start our search!
