Hello friends!

Valeo’s weekly orientation is being held at our office, tomorrow, at 1PM.

Valeo has partnered with Goodwill to offer financial coaching to Valeo participants. We believe that quick access to income through Valeo, combined with immediate financial education, will help make the difference in lifting our participants from crisis and in to stability. If we prioritize budgeting and encourage positive spending habits while our folks are making minimum wage, we will help to create a more financially stable pathway as their income increases.

As we all know, minimum wage is simply not enough to survive on. Valeo works with its participants to offer supportive services to help with basic needs and employment barrier reduction. As our participants work with financial counselors, we offer a MATCH savings program to be used to purchase a vehicle or move into housing, to encourage our folks to save. Participants have an amount deducted from each weekly paycheck to go into a savings account and, as they hit their desired goal, Valeo will MATCH the funds.

Goodwill financial counselors are here every Tuesday, at our orientations. Please send your folks to us and ask about our new MATCH program~!
