Tacoma Pierce County Coalition to End homelessness Meeting this Friday, August 23^rd, from 9:00am-11:00am.  We are at the Salvation Army Church (1110 S Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, WA  98405).

The agenda is attached, and I’ll bring hard copies to the meeting.  The executive summary:

· The Tacoma Housing Authority will update on waitlist changes and get some feedback on their implementation plans and possible changes to criminal screening policy

· Balance our Tax Code will present on efforts to address poverty through a more progressive tax code in Washington State

· An Update on the advocacy work around the proposed changes to the Tacoma Municipal Code around tents in parks

· Report on the first week of The Coffee Oasis’ new youth shelter
