Colleagues,

Please remember to enter your comments on the proposed code changes on "permissible structures."  I encourage you to include requesting a delay in this decision until the City identifies safe places where homeless people can rest during the day and can leave their belongings.  

This proposed change may in fact be a "done deal" on the part of the City but even if so, we can and should and must comment.  Who knows?  Maybe the Metro Parks Board and then the City Council and Staff will hear us and do what is right:  Safe Shelter for All.
