Colleagues,For those of you planning to attend one of today's sessions on the Continuum of Care Strategic Plan, it might help to review the document ahead of time. You'll receive a paper copy and the presentation itself is a powerpoint of the attached but it sometimes helps provide better comments when you can read the plan ahead of time.
Gerrit and I attended last night's presentation and I thought James Pogue, Amanda DeShazo and Jeff Rodgers did a great job presenting the Strategic Plan, describing the process, noting all our comments...
There was no planned written comment process but Valeri Knight says if you can get any comments to her by Monday, Sept. 9, she'll get them to the consultant. The document is only 11 pages. Just note anything that jumps out at you - anything you'd like more information on. Remember - this plan will guide policy and distribution of certain federal and state funds for the next five years. The %'s in some of the goals come from the State of Washington requirements for the Homeless/Housing Plan.
Remember - This is a strategic plan and will have one year action plans which will be specific and accountable actions.
