Hello, all!

Here at Child Care Resources, we sometimes get well-meaning donations that would probably get into the hands of folks in need faster if they went to another service organization. Right now, I have some kids’ clothes and shoes (but a super limited number and range of sizes), some rain ponchos and flashlights, and one natural flow bottle. Since we aren’t a clothing closet and most of our families aren’t literally homeless (unsheltered), I think these would be better distributed someplace else where folks expect to find these.

Does anyone here have a particular need for any or all of these items?

Thanks!

Tacoma Housing Authority Opens its Housing Waitlist Oct. 7-18,2019

Hi Coalition,

Thank you so much for the feedback. We found it extremely helpful. With the groups feedback we:

·         Translated the flyer into 14 languages (based on Tacoma and Pierce County language demographics)

·         Made the application translatable to 50+ languages

·         Asked our Executive Director to make sure all City Council members are aware of the opening

·         Made a big push on Social Media

·         Will send this out far and wide to service providers

May we ask for your help with one more thing? Would you help us get the word out?

Below is the email we sent out. Flyers available at tacomahousing.org/2019waitlist. Please share our post on social media: www.facebook.com/TacomaHousing

Please reach out with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
