Colleagues,Please find attached the agenda for tonight's City of Tacoma Council meeting and materials relating to Resolution No. 40429 which amends the policy for safe/disposition of city owned General Government Real Property to better align with the prioritization of affordable housing and equity. The Resolution notes House Bill 2382 which enables public entities to transfer real property at little or not cost for purposes of affordable housing. The Sept. 17 agenda also includes the first reading of Ordinance 28610 which incorporates the Affordable Housing Action Strategy into the One Tacoma Comprehensive Plan, updates housing affordability data, and increases policy support for the AHAS.
