Subject: Meeting Reminder: Outreach Alliance
Hello Everyone,
I am writing with a reminder that there is an Outreach Alliance Quarterly meeting this coming week -
Thursday, October 3rd from 7:00 to 9:00 am. The meeting will be held in the Learning Center at the Rescue Mission's Downtown Campus, located at 425 South Tacoma Way.
A note on parking for this meeting; we recently began construction on our shelter expansion at this location. While this is very exciting, it does create some challenges with our
parking. If you are unable to find a space in the main lot, please proceed up South Tacoma Way to the gravel lot at the end of our property.
Please review the details from my last email, below, and feel free to invite anyone else you are aware of who is engaged in outreach, or who may have interest in getting involved!
Blessings,
Amelia Kaiser

Hello All,
After holding two initial interest meetings for Outreach Alliance, at which we gathered feedback via surveys and discussion, I am pleased to share that we have zeroed in on the following
areas of focus for Outreach Alliance:
The planned format is to hold quarterly meetings, with time for education and networking at each meeting. In between, I will forward information on additional trainings available
throughout the community that those involved in Outreach might be interested in.
I will be following this email with an Outlook Calendar invite for our first quarterly meeting on Thursday, October 3rd from 7:00 to 9:00 AM. We hope to see many of you
there, and invite you to share the invitation with others in your network. The rough agenda for our October meeting is as follows:
I will close with a reminder of what Outreach Alliance is about:
The Tacoma Rescue Mission seeks to offer a space for learning and collaboration between groups and individuals doing street outreach – an Outreach Alliance for Pierce County.
Our hope is that coordinating our efforts will result in a greater number of individuals on the streets being reached by relational outreach efforts – and, as a result, that we will see more of these individuals connect with life-changing services and move
off the streets, for good. Who should take part? Anyone who is currently engaged in outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness in Pierce County, or those who have an interest in engaging in outreach.
Note: If you would prefer not to receive communications related to Outreach Alliance, simply reply to this email and I will be happy to remove you from my contacts list.
Blessings,
Amelia Kaiser
