DCYF needs to be contacted to ensure she doesn’t have a foster care run report on her. They should be finding her an appropriate living situation if she is in the foster care system.

I hope all is well and you all are doing well.

 

The CHAT at SeaMar was called this morning with regards to a 16-year-old female, that was recently sexually trafficked but can no longer stay at the shelter she’s at because they are un-compliant having her stay there since she’s currently in the foster care system.

 

What other resources might be available for her? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
