Good Evening everyone!!

Halloween is fast approaching and we are hoping to give these young adults a Halloween they haven’t had in (if at all) in YEARS. To make this week possible we will need some help with a few items!! I will be reaching out to local pumpkin patches to see if any would be willing to donate pumpkins as the season nears an end, however if anyone has any personal connects it would be extraordinarily helpful!!

Donations needed are:

Pumpkin Carving kits (new or used is fine)

Various Halloween decorations-I.E. Spider Webs, wall hangings, costumes, etc.

Face Paint

Costumes-No masks and nothing provocative is our guidelines for the participants

Candy-fun size bars

5 bags of melting Caramels

50 green apples

The goal for this week if we can make all this happen will be pumpkin carving for art group Tuesday morning, and decorating the center to follow. Wednesdays ASK it Basket group will consist of a theme of “Historic Halloweens” in which we will encourage the participants to discuss their experience on Halloween (good and bad) and what they may or may not enjoy about the day. Thursday we hope to have candy for everyone and face painting prior to dinner, in which we will make in house and themed around dinner (Toxic Mac and Cheese, Mummy Dogs, and I’m thinking candied carrots) As for a dessert it would be really great if we could allow them a build your own caramel apples.

Donations can be dropped of at HYPE at 2342 Tacoma Ave s, or they can be picked up, Shoot me a text or call me and I would love to set up a chance to do a pick up.
