State Seeking Input for the Five-Year U.S. Housing and Urban Development Strategic Plan
Commerce is seeking your input to develop Washington state’s five-year consolidated plan.
The consolidated plan determines priorities, establishes strategic goals and allocates resources for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds administered by the state Departments of Commerce and Health: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
Commerce will hold a public hearing on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at 1011 Plum St SE, Olympia, to receive input on:
- Community development and housing needs.
- Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice Report.
