How do you get someone fleeing domestic
Violence approved for  DSHS child care?

Non working Baby dad is being included in the unit because he comes and goes “when he feels like it”. Mom is trying to flee to her own safe place and put kids in care of a provider versus him watching them.

DSHS said they need to escalate it and get it approved through 3 people and it will take time before it gets approved or not.

Any feedback helps!

In particular we need clothing for men such as jeans, warm shirts, sweaters, jackets, underwear, and socks. We would be happy to pick up or you can drop off donations at the 11th Street Clinic.

We have a client that is in need of a long baby gate in order for CPS to allow her visitation with her children. According to the client CPS told her they are out of funding and cannot help her with this purchase. She has worked so hard to have housing so that she can reunite with her babies, and its been very rough. Any help would be appreciated!
