Help your clients share their ideas on how to spend $100,000.
3 weeks left to share ideas!
Do you live, work, go to school, or have kids that go to school in either 98404 or 98409 zip codes? In 2019-2020 community members will decide how to spend $100,000 in East Tacoma (98404) and $100,000 in South
Tacoma (98409) towards arts, culture, heritage, and/or science programs, services, and experiences in their neighborhood. What’s your idea? Be creative with ideas that benefit your community—there are so many possibilities for arts, culture, heritage, and/or
science projects! Community members will vote on the top ideas to decide which ones are funded. Do you think you have an idea that could win the vote?
To submit your idea, please fill out a survey below. You can also collect ideas at your agency and submit them to us. You have until December 31st

Public Health Centers for Excellence at the Health Department and The City of Tacoma are working together to provide community-driven, participatory planning and budgeting opportunities
in East Tacoma (98404) and South Tacoma (98409). Participatory Budgeting and Planning is a democratic process that allows community members to directly decide how to spend part of a public budget. The money to fund
this project comes from Tacoma Creates, a voter-approved initiative designed to expand equitable access to Tacoma’s arts, culture, heritage, and science
programs.
