If this family is experiencing homelessness or within six months of permanent housing, please have them call 206-329-5842 or email subsidy@childcare.org. Since she is fleeing DV, she likely just needs someone to advocate on her behalf with DCYF to be approved for the Homeless Grace Period, which should provide 4 months of full-time childcare without requiring any additional documentation, if she isn’t employed. We also have private subsidy dollars to cover any gaps.
