Colleagues,

Some of you may not realize that you are eligible for Financial Assistance especially if you use the Multicare system - they have a graduated scale by household size that goes up to 500% of poverty. Don't think about "low income" program eligibility - check the tables on-line and see where you fall. My husband and I qualify and I have found the various offices with which we deal - especially over these past two months of medical crises - to be nothing but respectful. The financial aid office answers all my questions immediately. Knowing we have this coverage has made it possible for me to sleep at night as I have watched the costs of specialized tests and hospital stays mount. Don't be embarrassed. Just do it!
