Hello my name is Jessica Elliott. My husband Leslie Elliott Jr, myself and our 3 children ages 15, 13, 12 have been battling homelessness for just over 5 years now on and off within those years we have been without a home 5 times. Currently at our lowest we are living out our car. Car registration expired 12/22/2019 and two days ago our battery went dead dead I've tried charging our battery but it won't even hold the charge long enough to start the car. I have a couple of appointments this week and without a running vehicle only makes me worry if ill be able to make all the appointments. I have already made contact with United Way Pierce County 211 and I scheduled a Coordinated Entry Intake appointment for Thursday Feb 06 at 1:00pm. Since I'm in desperate need I posted on many Facebook groups asking anyone if they can help with a battery. A wonderful lady explained that Tacoma Pierce Coalition to End Homelessness may be able too help. Here are some of my families emergent needs listed below as follows. Please let me know if i was directed properly and if not, where should I turn too.
