I will be presenting on COVID-19 planning and response efforts this Friday’s Coalition Meeting in partnership with Ivan Tudela from Pierce County Emergency Management.

Before Friday, please start your preparedness efforts by taking these steps:

• Review the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department web page.
• Follow the prevention steps that are listed.  
• Review the frequently asked questions (FAQs)
• Review linked resources from other agencies.
• Subscribe to alerts from the Health Department (fill out the pop-up box that appears on our website and follow us via social media).
• Share our infographic in English, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese and Russian with your coworker, families, and clients.
• Send me questions you’d like to be addressed on Friday. I will do my best to answer them.  The presentation will cover how your agencies need to prepare and update you on our current response efforts.  

Please be patient! I won’t be responding directly via email – I will respond to everyone as a group on Friday. I will make sure that a PowerPoint gets sent to the listserv along with Geritt’s fabulous minutes.

If your questions urgently need to be addressed before Friday take these steps:

1. Try and find the answer on our website and the referenced resources first.
2. If you still can’t find the answer, send me an email with URGENT in the subject line. Please only do so if the question truly cannot wait until Friday.
