Knowledgeable housing people 😊 Good day!

I provide Medicaid funded substance use disorder services, and am currently out of the loop with housing issues –

I have a client who is in transitional housing, with her infant daughter, doing really well – but would like to apply for section 8, or find alternative funding for independent housing? 

Can anyone point me in the right direction to help this lady out?  She has a history of prison and substances, but since having her baby has been doing exceptionally well and I would like to support her in the transition to a different life and next phase of her awesome development.  Given her personality, she would be a wonderful advocate and she is working in this direction, she just needs housing supports.
