Hey y'all,

It was wonderful chatting with y'all today. I appreciate hearing your feedback, and I look forward to more conversations around this.

For folks who weren't able to make today's call, Gerrit, Rosemary, and I spent the last week compiling the notes and transcripts from last week's call about generating ideas of how the County could allocate CARE Act funding to support various needs for our houseless neighbors throughout the county. Here's the link to the letter: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ar3DwcfPO4qfQOQNoNk3U28NGUADrPElLR4Wouid9qg/edit?usp=sharing

During our meeting today, we agreed to a deadline of sending in feedback for editing by the end of the day on Monday, May 18th. This will allow time for folks to look it over and offer comments, but also allow us to send it out to County soon.

You can send your feedback to Rosemary, Gerrit or I, which I have CCed all of our email addresses in case you don't have them. We'd love your thoughts and feedback.

This by no means means that this is the end of the conversation about pitching ideas of how CARES Act funding to support the needs that we see and care about so dearly. Rather, I think that it's hopefully quite the opposite. Our hope that this is the starting place for more dialogue.

Appreciate all that y'all do, and keep up the hard work caring for the most vulnerable in our community and fighting for justice.

In solidarity,
