Reminder: Oct. 20 deadline for application to host lived expert
The Washington State Department of Commerce’s
Office of Homeless Youth is soliciting applications from two different organizations to host a lived expert each. Applications are due Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. PDT.
Host organizations can be nonprofit organizations, housing authorities, local governments, community action councils, federally recognized tribes, regional or statewide nonprofit housing assistance
organizations, host home programs and organizations designed by and for communities disproportionately impacted by homelessness (Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and Two-Spirit).
Successful bidders will be provided with funding based on their submitted budget, up to a maximum of $35,600, to provide salary and benefits for the hired lived expert for a six month role at their
organization starting in January 2021.
