Good morning,

Our DEI Committee is holding an art contest for youth between the ages of k-12—see attached flier. Would you mind sharing through your channels?

Contest Overview:

In honor of Tacoma Arts Month, Pierce Transit is holding a visual and literary art contest for K-12 students in Pierce County. The theme of this year's contest is "Cultivating wonder and care by taking the bus to...". Your art piece could seek to answer one or both of the following questions: what exciting places would you go to on the bus? or if you could send a message of compassion and care to bus riders and drivers, what would it be?

The deadline to submit art is October 31st. Winning art pieces will be displayed on bus shelters throughout Pierce County and on the Pierce Transit website.

Thank you for your support,
