Webinar with Q&A: SPARCC Hub & Spoke Models of Community Land Trusts
|
|
Join SPARCC and Community Science's Brandon Coffee-Bordon for a critical and informative panel discussion on Community Land Trusts, Monday, December 14, 2:00 pm EST.
In recent years, CLTs and their stakeholders have explored a number of approaches to combining critical functions that are essential to CLT operations. The goal of these efforts has been to reduce costs, address capacity gaps, and gain efficiency while maintaining community voice and power. Join us for this 90 min webinar led by Community Science and SPARCC that will present three common hub and spoke models-central servers, backbones and incubators, and networks. For each model, speakers will highlight case examples and key lessons learned from the field. They will also include considerations for developing and sustaining a hub and spoke infrastructure across a variety of city and regional contexts. The webinar will end with plenty of time for Q&A and in-depth discussion.
The Panel will include:
- Brandon Coffee-Borden, Community Science
- Christopher Norman, Atlanta Land Bank Authority and Atlanta Land Trust
- Ian Winters, Northern California Land Trust
- Suzanne Cabrera, Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County and South Florida Community Land Trust Network
