Some of what you'll do: Collaborate with local planners and other decision makers to prevent and address housing and displacement issues within our County. Act as health department liaison to county and cities housing and building code departments, housing authorities, and housing policy...

Some of what you'll do:

• Collaborate with local planners and other decision makers to prevent and address housing and displacement issues within our County.
• Act as health department liaison to county and cities housing and building code departments, housing authorities, and housing policy stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with health department’s local, state, and federal policy staff and health equity program.
• Serve as health department representative on housing consortiums, task forces, and committees.
• Support efforts that improve the social, environmental, and economic conditions of health.
• Coordinate and facilitate trainings and develop training toolkits and resources making the connection between housing and health.
• Strengthen the connection between housing and health and the public health equity strategy to address an underlying condition for health with a focus on children, youth and families BIPOC communities.
• Participate and at times lead, in program planning and evaluation activities including data collection and reporting.
• Research, track, and evaluate local, state, and federal housing policies.
