Colleagues,This was a really good call yesterday. Here;s the information plus a Take Action Today section. There is also a link to the recording. If you work with tenants, you'll want to hear the first part of the meeting with Patricio Marquez with the Washington Attorney General's office. It's all good but I know some of you are really pressed for time.k.
We're fortunate that the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance can bring presenters together so we all have equal and easy access - either in the moment or later. I remember way too many hours and way too many miles on I-5 either to Seattle or to Olympia just to try to stay in the loop and bring information back to Tacoma and Pierce County and statewide to homelessness providers.
Join the Alliance; join the National Low Income Housing Coalition. I met Cushing Dolbeare, founder of the National Low Income Housing Coalition, when Pierce County Community Action (now part of PC Human Services) asked if I would go to a national low-income housing conference in Washington DC - they paid and I went and nothing was ever the same.
Be safe everyone,
Maureen
