Newly built Tiny Houses ready to move to Progressive Skyway Village
A new tiny house village of 38 houses will open in Skyway in early March. Progressive Skyway Village is sponsored by Seattle Word of God Church and is located at 12429 56th Pl S. Seattle, WA 98178. LIHI thanks all the volunteers, donors and builders who have been building the tiny houses.
King County is providing LIHI funds for set-up, and operating and services funding through June 2023 through a grant for Emergency Shelter from the State Department of Commerce. We thank Rev. Curtis Taylor, King County Councilmember Girmay Zahilay (District 2), the Skyway Coalition, and many supporters. The village will shelter 35 households including families with children, couples and singles.
If you would like to donate tiny houses furnishings, linens, hygiene supplies, laundry detergent, etc. please contact Lidya at lidya.stamper@lihi.org or 206-957-8060.
