If your clients are receiving their stimulus check/economic impact payment via snail mail, it may come as a bankcard. Read the information carefully. The card must be activated via phone - the message I got several times today was to try again. Once the
card is activated, only the first use is free. The fees for each following use are listed on the back of the single page of information that comes with the card.
I'd like to keep track of problems so please email me if your clients - or even you - have any.
Remember - these cards can be deposited in bank accounts and Theresa Power-Drutis stands ready to help anyone with Seattle CU.
Oh - and watch that no one throws out the envelope with the card in it - it almost looks like it isn't real - but it is!
