• Results are available in five to seven days. This fixed site operates 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., seven days a week. This site is open to everyone and tests are free. Please bring your smartphone to this location to signup for the test. Field staff can help you. If you do not have a smartphone or tablet, site staff can help get you signed up.

• Testing will be available to the public Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• All individuals wishing to receive testing should pre-register here.
• Those with insurance can preload information during registration and should bring insurance information with them to testing site.
• Enter through the 19^th Street entrance for COVID-19 testing, Tyler Street entrance will be encouraged for Team Store shopping and Cheney Staff only.

Take home a free COVID-19 test kit from your library.

• Getting a home-collected COVID-19 test kit is as easy as stopping by your local Pierce County Library branch!
• Pierce County residents, call your library to schedule a pickup during curbside hours.
• You can take the test in the privacy of your own home at the date and time that work for you. 
• The kit includes simple instructions to safely take the test and drop it off at a UPS Store or UPS drop box.

Business, organization, and community testing

Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department may be able to help your business, group, or organization conduct testing of your employees, community, or organization members. We have free home testing kits available now.  Fill out this form and somebody from the Health Department will get in touch with you.
