Dear Maureen,

Can you believe it? The state legislative session ended last Sunday and we achieved every single one of our priorities. Those policies and budget investments will prevent thousands of people from losing their homes when the eviction moratorium ends, and create housing stability for many more who were struggling long before the pandemic. 

Will you take a moment to thank the lawmakers who voted yes on these bills, and fought hard with us for housing justice? Saying thank you tells lawmakers that we are paying attention to their votes. It also signals that affordable housing and homelessness are key issues for their constituents!  
  

We moved mountains together in 2021!

Our accomplishments this session are many, including: 

• A new permanent fund source for eviction prevention and homelessness interventions; 
• Right to counsel and new eviction protections; 
• No more 20-day no cause eviction notices;
• Over $1 BILLION in the state budgets for affordable housing and homelessness!
