Subject: Thank you for registering for Friday's webinar!
To:

Hello there,

Thank you very much for registering for Friday's webinar on the new statewide tenant protections. We were happy with the large turnout, and for those of you who weren't able to make it, we wanted to follow up with the recording, the slides, and a couple requests!

First, here is the recording of the webinar. We will get it up on our website this week as well so it's a little easier to find in the future. Attached are the slides from all the presenters.

For those of you who attended, will you please provide a little feedback on how the webinar went and let us know if there's anything we can improve? Take the feedback survey here!

A note about the acknowledgements used during the webinar: Land & Enslavement Acknowledgements written by Caroline Lopez: If you are interested in using these acknowledgements, please email carolinel@wliha.org for a copy and let her know the context in which you plan to use them. These were created by Caroline and not the Housing Alliance. Please do not use without permission or without offering credit to the writer. As an organization we acknowledge the appropriation and misuse of work created by BIPOC people and particularly Black women and women of color at this time.

EVICTION MORATORIUM ACTION ALERT!

As you know, on June 30th the Governor's eviction moratorium is set to expire. This will pull the rug out from under many renters in Washington who will not have been able to access rental assistance or the right to counsel. These programs take time to implement, and the moratorium should be maintained, along with the prohibition on rent increases, until counties can actually get these protections up and running.

Sign our petition to Gov. Inslee (individuals and organizations welcome) to extend the moratorium today! Deadline is this Thursday, June 3rd. Please circulate widely!
