The City’s Cooling and Air Quality Relief Center at the Lighthouse Activity Center will be open to the public starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 29, through Saturday, July 31, operating from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and 1-6 PM on weekends.  Guests will be required to wear masks and follow designated COVID-19 safety protocols.

Lighthouse Activity Center is located at 5016 A Street, Tacoma, WA 98408.

Bottled water will be available at the Stability Site starting tomorrow afternoon (Thursday), for distribution to by outreach workers and volunteers.  The City requests that people take only what is needed for immediate distribution. The City has also offered to reimburse volunteer outreach workers for expenses incurred with water purchased for encampment distribution, as well as for basic “street medic” supplies they have been distributing to encampments.
