Hello wonderful team,

I have a client that is from Brazil and only speaks Portuguese. She escaped her husband/abusers home recently who sexually abused and exploited her. He knows where she is staying and where she works. She has problems finding jobs because she only speaks Portuguese. She wants to find housing or shelter where she can get away from her DV abuser. She has gone through many of the resources that are out there. She expressed that she keeps getting referred to other people and she is very overwhelmed. She is currently getting help from Korean Women Association. She would like to get out of the  Tacoma area because she doesn’t want him to know anything about where she lives or works. I referred her to Share and Care for one of their housing programs. She is an older woman with very limited income.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
