KEEP PUSHING!
Urge Members of Congress to Sign Letter to Protect Targeted Affordable Housing Investments in the “Build Back Better Act”!

President Biden and congressional leaders need to hear from you and from as many members of Congress as possible in support of essential and targeted housing investments currently included in the “Build Back Better Act”: $90 billion in new rental assistance, $80 billion to repair and preserve public housing, and $37 billion to build affordable apartments through the Housing Trust Fund. Together, these resources could end homelessness in America, and they must not be cut!

Take Action!

  1. Urge your representative to sign onto a Dear Colleague Letter to show their support for these essential investments to end homelessness by COB, October 13! So far, 55 representatives have signed on (see the list of current signers here). Members of Congress can sign on by contacting Aaron Groce in Representative Ritchie Torres’s office (Aaron.Groce@mail.house.gov).
  2. Call your senators and representative TODAY and urge them to weigh in IMMEDIATELY with the White House, House Speaker Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Schumer in support of funding the HoUSed campaign’s priorities at the highest level possible.
  3. Join the more than 1,600 organizations nationwide by signing the HoUSed campaign letterSign on to the letter here.
