WDVA has re-opened the job posting for Program Assistant for our Transitional Housing here in Orting, WA. The application window closes on 11/30/21.
Please note, the previous listing stated that the position would expire on 9/30/22 but the wording may have given not the most accurate of an impression. Our program grant is a two year grant which is re-applied for every
two years. Our current grant expires on 9/30/22 but we will be reapplying for the new grant which picks up on 10/1/22. We’ve updated the wording in this post to hopefully clarify a bit as the previous wording was causing some confusion!
As a Program Assistant, you'll support the Transitional Housing Program (THP) by providing administrative and operational support during non-traditional business hours including evenings and weekends. This includes assisting in case management
activities for individuals with chronic mental health and substance use disorders in a residential 24/7 setting.
The position to be filled is a split shift: Wednesday through Thursday 4:00 AM to 12:30 AM, Friday through Sunday 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday and Tuesday off.
