The City of Tacoma notified the Coalition through Rob Huff that the City's HEAL team (new name for the HOT team) will post notice Jan. 11 for a sweep of the site at 2nd and G Street next to Wright Park tomorrow. Notice will be up for one week, with the site removal to happen next Tuesday. The sweep will happen Tuesday, Jan. 18.

The City says this is a small encampment with only three or four people. City staff will offer places at Aspen Court.

If you are doing outreach to any of the people in this encampment, I suggest you encourage them to accept the rooms offered at Aspen Court.
