HUD Resources

Tax Credits

HUD has recently published information on claiming Child Tax Credit (CTC) and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) funds.

Households must file taxes in order to receive the CTC or EITC: filing will allow families to receive any unclaimed funds from 2021. These tax benefits are not considered income, and will not affect eligibility for federal benefits.

Permanent Supportive Housing

HUD has released resources to help communities locate potential sources of operating subsidies to bring supportive and deeply affordable housing projects online.
