Ps deadline is 3:30pm.today in order for this to run tonight.

Sarah's iphone is broken so she is unable to Zoom unless we can get a replacement device for her over to her place. Anyone have an iphone floating around they would like to donate or even lend on short notice to a lovely blind wheelchair bound soul who cannot afford a replacement to help get this story out to the world? This would also help her be able to attend tenant's union organizing meetings.

Thanks again

Hi everyone,
Looking for interviewee(s), preferably someone with direct impact, to Zoom today with Keith from KOMO for a story that will run today.

During the recent state health press conference he asked if Governor would be rescinding emergency order. I immediately contacted him let him know the impact that could have in cutting pandemic food benefits as that is tied in, which then in turn could also impact blanket eligibility for Affordable Connectivity Program (Internet discount), I'm sure there are other additional benefits attached to the Gubernatorial order I may be unaware of but that's a pretty big impact. I suggested it could also create empathy to garner additional donations to food banks, rental assistance funds and other social services. According to several case workers I spoke to across the state some DSHS hold times are as much as four hours and caseloads increased 10x which I'm sure many of you are aware and ties in to recent WaLeg action to study on and hopefully implement how to reduce those.

I suggested he speak with Sarah from Tiki Tenants as she already has some media training. If you or you have anyone else in mind who would be a good fit for this story and could Zoom in the next couple hours on short notice please reach out to him directly at  2067959961 (text is fine).

Thanks!
