That sounds like something one of our attorneys may be able to help with.  Please have your client apply online for assistance at https://nwjustice.org/apply-online.  I can ask the head of our local health, welfare, and disabilities team on Monday if this is a type of case they can take a direct referral on.  It’s possible there is an administrative complaint process she needs to complete first, so I’ll ask if there is a better resource to send her to for that, too.

Does anyone have resource on Attorney’s that will take on Disability Discrimination cases?

 

Childcare center denied enrollment of child based on Sensory Sensitivity diagnosis and stated they take no kids with any form of disabilities because licensor does not permit. Found out straight from licensor that was not true and even said what they are doing is against the law and encouraged us to report incident.
