We're looking for people to sew sleeping bag liners from sheets. These will be offered to guests at FOB Hope and elsewhere if we find enough people willing to sew.
Benefits: Sleeping bag liners can be easily removed from the sleeping bag and washed, which not only improves hygiene but also reduces the need to wash the bag itself. Liners add a layer of warmth in the winter and can be used on their own as a sheet in warm weather.

FOB Hope still needs:
5 pillows (right away)

Brotherhood Rise Center needs (by June 1):
40 pillows
2 double bed frames
2 double bed mattresses & box springs

New Connections collects linens for shelters, safe parking sites, and tent campers. We have 2 double bed sheet sets and 8 twin bed sheet sets ready for the Rise Center and are working on the additional 32 twin bed sets needed by June.
We also provide starter kits for newly housed people with items like plates, flatware, linens, etc.

If you have something to contribute toward these efforts - let us know!
We are only able to use new pillows  and typically purchase the $4-$6 ones at Target. However, we are happy to recieve gently used linens and are especially looking for pillowcases and single bed sheets right now.  These don't need to be sets; individual sheets are useful too.
If you need anything for outreach or starter kits for clients - let us know!
We can't always get what you need but will make requests and keep moving things on as soon as possible.

Available Monday:
Call to reserve items and arrange for pick up, we can set something aside if you need to pick up later in the week.
