I am not aware of an open house today. They did have one last Thursday.

RE: Felony friendly housing by Crystal Lee (08 Nov 2022 23:00 UTC)Reply to list

 • Hi all, I have attached to this email a list of felony friendly housing.
 • I am unsure how old this list or even if it is still valid.
 • I urge you to do some calling and see if any of these might be an option. It is a 20 page document.
 •
 • Hope this helps! J

 • Hello,
 •
 • I am working with a young client who has a Section 8 voucher and a felony background. Over the course of the summer, I have been working with two other case managers to find housing that will work with his background, but we keep getting denied. The lists I have for felony friendly housing seem to be out of date or won't get back to me.
 •
 • This client has a felony assault charge and a juvenile sex offense. They participate in drug and alcohol classes, are actively seeking employment and meeting with case managers weekly. They are working hard and are moving in the right direction. They just need a safe place to land in order to fully harness their momentum.
 •
 • We are seeking a studio or 1 bedroom in Tacoma, Lakewood or Parkland. Any ideas, resources, or suggestions are welcome.
 •
 • Thank you,
 • Danica

 • Hello Paige,
 • From the email below, the homeless coalition was compiling an updated housing list for Felon Friendly Offenders/Reentry.  Any updates? We have
 • funding to assist individuals with move-in cost, but we do not have a list of Felon Friendly apartments.  Any suggestions, please let me know.
