The author is anonymous but identifies as "your friendly neighborhood homeless industrial complex worker." You may -or may not- agree with everything in this article, but  the author clearly speaks from long experience and challenges us to face homelessness and poverty in ways that lead to housing rather than sweeps and camping bans.  They also call out the disingenuous narratives from some Tacoma city staff and "leaders" that fuel public misunderstanding and hamper progress toward shelter 4 all. Good explanations of the Tacoma camping ban (goes into effect today), the Right of Way Safety Initiative and the ROW initiative too.
