Subject: TAKE ACTION TODAY - Ask lawmakers to move HB 1389 and HB 1124 forward!

 

Dear Rob,

I am reaching out today with an urgent request for you to take action and ask your lawmakers to move House Bill 1389 and House Bill 1124 out of the House before the cutoff on Wednesday at 5pm..

HB 1389 (sponsored by Representative Alex Ramel) is the last chance we have this year to pass rent stabilization and limit rent increases. HB 1124 (sponsored by Representative Strom Peterson) would require landlords to provide 6 months notice on significant rent increases on 5% or more. Both bills have to be voted out of the House by Wednesday evening or they are considered dead for this year. We need your help today to make sure decision makers on the committee know how important these bills are.

Will you take action today and urge House members to move HB 1389 and HB 1124 out of the House this week?
