Hi Tanya,
I would try Park Place. It is a live-in treatment like facility. She needs to be sober, have medicaid, have some kind of mental health diagnosis and be open to taking medication if needed. There is also a quarantine period if she is not vaccinated. She would be able to have her own room and 3 free meals a day. They would require a referral to enter but I will list the Park Place main line phone number and ask about their city bed program.

Subject: Homeless Coalition - URGENT HOUSING HELP NEEDED

Good afternoon-

We have a person in the hospital who is being discharged after a very long stay.  She has a very sad story. She was previously working in an Adult Family Home as a caregiver but can no longer do the work she was doing.  She lost her apartment while in the hospital and there is a lot of concern that she won’t be able to manage on the streets as she is naïve to this lifestyle.

Are there any IMMEDIATE housing options, shelter or otherwise, for an elderly female?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
