This meeting is for planning the webinar, not debating the merits of the initiatives. Our hope is to get input on potential panel members, best time to hold the forum and a few preliminary questions that will help clarify the differences between these initiatives. The forum will also provide an opportunity to clarify why TMC 1.95 is already in force but also on the ballot in November.

The League of Women Voters of Tacoma Pierce County has offered to serve as a co-sponsor. The first half of the 7/26/23 Communications & Advocacy Workgroup meeting will focus on hearing recommendations from others regarding the forum. The meeting is open to all and can be joined via the Tacoma Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness website.

This is very short notice and not everyone can make time in the middle of the day. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a recommendation regarding the webinar, we are happy to hear from you. This will not come together instantly - there is time to share your thoughts even if tomorrow doesn't work for you.
