Good afternoon coalition members,

I am reaching out on behalf of a client’s sister/authorized representative.

My client is on our Aged, Blind or Disabled program due to some quite significant behavioral health difficulties, and is currently decompensating. He has been homeless for a few months, and as far as his sister knows, is staying in his car down by the Tacoma waterfront. He is currently  quite resistant to engaging in behavioral health services, but is in dire need of some type of housing. A shelter environment is likely not going to work due to his behavior and current mental state. His sister is willing to help pay a portion of the rent if she can find any affordable options. We are hopeful that some type of shelter may be a first step to getting him the further help he needs.

If anyone has leads or options, please let me know so I can put you in touch with client’s sister.

Thank you!
